Space: What links SpaceX and Musk's Boring company? Habitats on Mars
It's a fun topic to speculate on the designs for Mars.
Given its hostile environment and the need to protect humans from the hazards of space, whatever the architecture may be it'll probably need to be underground for shielding from radiation and other hostile projectiles. We take all this protection for granted on Earth with our protective atmosphere and magnetic field, but on Mars all we have is rock to hide under :-)
